Platform description

Huawei SGSN USN9810 is a unified service node designed by Huawei. It can be used in the 2.5G General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) system, 3G Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS), and evolved packet core (EPC) system.

Vulnerability description

The specialists of the Positive Research center have detected an Access Restrictions Bypassing vulnerability in Huawei SGSN USN9810.

The application does not sufficiently check the user’s authorization in the system. This allows an authorized attacker to obtain access to various administrative procedures and features of the system.
